What to bring

When attending your first appointment please ensure you bring the following documents, for yourself and your Fiance, which are required for Proof of Identity when signing the NOIM.

 

If you were born in Australia:

• Your original and full birth certificates from Births, Deaths and Marriages. This certificate must not be an extract.

• Photo identification: a current passport or a current drivers licence.

 

If you were born outside of Australia:

• Your current Passport

 

If you were married previously:

• Your original evidence of divorce, i.e. Decree Absolute (prior to 1/7/2002) OR Certificate of Divorce (after 1/7/2002).

 

If you are a widow:

• Evidence of the death of a spouse; i.e. death certificate.
