My name is Peter Fraser and I am a qualified Marriage Celebrant approved by the Attorney Generals Department to conduct Marriage and Civil Ceremonies.

 

I have been a Justice of the Peace for over 30 years and I am retired from the ACT Fire Brigade after 33 years of service as a Station Officer.

 

Having raised a family of four children with my wife of 50 years, it was my eldest daughters own wedding in 2008 which inspired me to become a celebrant.

 

I have over many years been the Master of Ceremonies at weddings and conferences and have been involved in community based volunteer work such as becoming Communications Manager for the Commonwealth Games in 2006. I have along with my wife been foster carers for families in need. 

 

It is not only my strong belief in the institution of marriage and dedication to giving every couple all the things that makes a wedding day special that motivates me, but also to be able to give a professional service that the couple and those attending their wedding will look back on in years to come with only the fondest of memories.
